- How to Get Clay in Deep Dish DungeonHit the yellow goo piles (mostly in the sewers) with a Pickaxe. Weapons, the Hammer and fire do nothing to goo, and Clay is not in the demo.
- How to Get Leather and Animal HideCraft 1 Leather from 2 Animal Hide at the Workbench. Animal Hide comes from Rats (break a Rat down into Raw Meat and you also get 1 hide). The recipe only appears after you've picked up real Leather once.
- Where to Find the Pickaxe▶ VideoThe Pickaxe has no recipe — it's picked up near the prison: at the bottom of the stairs beside the prison entrance stairs, behind a locked door (watch for a skeleton archer above). You need to get into the prison first.
- What Breaks Each Obstacle (Goo, Roots, Bars, Rocks, Webs)▶ Video◆ DiagramGoo → Pickaxe · Roots → Axe · Rusty bars / fences → Hammer · Rock piles → Explosives · Spider webs → torch in your right hand.

- True Ending: All 22 Treasures and Where to Return Them✓ Checklist▶ VideoThere are 22 treasures. For the true ending, return 17 of them (all except the 4 gems and the Seed): 6 gold items into the golden chest, 4 relics onto their altars, 7 belongings to their owners. Then find the hidden room by the eel boss and type shutdown at the terminal.
- All 4 Gems and Where to Find Them▶ VideoTomato Gem – beat the Giant Spider. Guarana Gem – beat the Giant Moray Eel. Corn Gem – root-blocked chest off the bat dining hall (bring an Axe). Bean Gem – bottom of the Crypt. Place all 4 and offer a Deep Dish Pizza to get the Seed.
Puzzles
- Crypt Statue Puzzle Solution (6 Statues)▶ Video◆ DiagramAt the bottom of the Crypt, place 6 statues (3 of them cast from Clay in a Statue Mold) and turn each one to follow the winding pattern on the floor. Facing the closed door as north: left column S, NE, NE; right column NW, NW, SW (nearest to farthest). Reward: Crystal Egg.
- Table Puzzle Solution: the 3 Dishes for the Golden Door▶ VideoPut Stew (meat + vegetable), Cooked Veggies (two kinds of vegetable) and Bean Soup (2 Black Beans) on the long table in the bat room — cook all three in a pot. The golden door opens; defeat the Skeleton Queen for the Queen Crown.
- Every Key and Locked DoorKeys are cast in the Smelter from molds (5 Coal + 8 Scrap Metal each). The Iron Key opens the door next to the Jaguar Door; the Prison Key is in a chest behind it; the Jaguar Door needs 3 Key Pieces and hides the Silver Dagger.
Bosses & Enemies
- How to Beat the Giant Moray Eel (Eel Boss)▶ VideoClose the 4 handwheels to drain the water, then attack the eel while it's stranded on the bottom. After about 15 seconds it refills the room — drain it again and repeat. It drops the Guarana Gem.
- Enemy Weaknesses: Skeletons, Apparitions, Slimes and SpidersApparitions can only be hurt with the Silver Dagger. The Skeleton Queen and skeleton partners take full damage from the Hammer and half from other weapons. Skeletons get back up at full health after a while — finish fights fast, and eat well first.

- Lost Your Items or Stuck? What to DoIf you're stuck, open the pause menu and choose Starve to Death — you go back to your last save point and keep key items (it isn't guaranteed for items in your bag). The developers have announced a patch that stops backpacks dropping on death and lets you recover key items from the Catalogue.
